We blame Time for moving too fast, or rather, never cut a teeny bit of slack, which leads to the famous saying, 'Time and tide waits for no men'.

However, it also goes to show that Time is a stern teacher. It pushes us to face Mr. Reality who is sometimes cruel. Everyone knows only stern teacher can produce excellent student. Therefore, Time is an ace teacher. I'm giving credits to Time in the aim of winning the favors of it and getting more Time in the coming year. I kid.

Wishful wishful thinking.

On a serious note, Time also reminds us to cherish our loved ones due to the time/lifespan limited to one. Life's just too short. So never stop loving anyone who loves you while looking beyond your flaws. They are folks so worthy of your precious time and love.

Come on there and welcome 2011 together.

Reason being, to spend more time with the loved ones and give thanks to them.

Thou, a lil hurting by the fact that we are growing OLD. But, HEY! growing old doesn't sound exactly bad,

Not to forget our dear teacher Time, be grateful to it. Stop stealing Time, rushing Time, beating the Time, killing Time (Gosh, what did it do to you??)..

Instead, we can drive away the bad/moody/grouchy Times altogether and share the good Times with the folks. :)

The time's ticking.

I'm barely typing anything on my assignment page.

Lacking motivation big time.

I feel a mind blockage in kicking start an essay.

So tough so tough.

Until i see messages on the phone screaming for my attention,

These two most important people of my life walked in and gave me a push. My heart warmed up and is ready to perform its job again. Waking the brain and start working this instant; right after 'FULLSTOP'

I love rainbow and everything colorful.

and my horribly scribbled notes less horrifying to read.

I'm missing a friend, a special colour in my life.

She used to paint beautiful chapters with me, i wish we could be as close as before.

Life's like Tattoos

In life, some things are just like tattoos. Once it is done, you can't erase it no matter how hard you try. Even if you laser it off, scars will be left on your skin. Be it beautiful or ugly, these are the little things imprinted in life. Even if it's a terrible mistake. You gotta embrace it. Live with it. And never make the same mistake. Ever again.

I must be the happiest girl on 13th March

It's the best birthday i've ever had.

I had a birthday filled with awful awesome surprises.

First of all, let me define surprise.

Surprise: The degree of happiness you get = the degree of disappointment accumulated.

Which means, all my friends had to pretend they forgot about my birthday celebration and give excuses for not being able to celebrate for me. My friends are srsly the best actors in the world. I was wondering why Media corp didn't recruit them. Frankly speaking, I owe them a big spanking thank you. They have worked so hard just to keep me in the dark. So much planning and stuffs. Just so sorry for all the tantrums and whining, i almost spoil my own big day. :)

Had to thank:

1) Jared YiXian and SHER for the mini celebration on the 12th. Sher was so tired she even fell asleep while watching Alice 3D. The show was not so fantastic at all. But, the surprise was a pleasant one. ;)

2) Chee, Ass, Hunn, Shan, Smelly, Ah wee aka snake move king, Weeliang, Desan, SHER for appearing at Seletar Camp and planning everything just to surprise me. Boy, it was quite a soap opera drama mama surprise. Buckets of tears drained. And i thought i was ill with illusions as days got nearer to my birthday. Kept thinking my boyfriend and friends had something up their sleeves and they will surprise me with something big. But once and again got disappointed with nothing especially when the clock struck 12 midnight. The boyfriend didn't even send me a birthday msg. Horrid. :( Weeliang and Hunn did surprise me with a choc cake. But i wasn't contented as i expected more. Greedy, ain't i.

On the actual day itself. I was a petty girl. I treated the boyfriend bitterly. For that, i felt super bad now. Siblings and Joyce celebrated my birthday at Dian Xiao Er, Marina Square and they bought me I Phone!! :DD They brightened up my gloomy mood. Strawberry cake has always been my birthday cake, likewise for this year. Thank you DAJIE, ERJIE, JOYCE, KORKOR. HUGS!

Finally, smelly convinced me to go for dinner. Never did i know it would be at Seletar Camp. Silly him got lost on the way. It was then that everything got let out of the bag. -GRINS-

Wells, the rest of the day can all be described in a heartwarming fuzzy wassy oozy mode. After trying the 5 degree signature buffalo wings and some goodie foodie, we headed to catch a show at Plaza Sing and home! Ohyar, did i mention i'm a proud mum of a 3y.o now? Desan bought me a soft toy named chalky and claimed that he is my son. I brought it to hall and made it my slave. HAHAHA.

3) Hall 8 peeps, hall dance mates, hall 8 neighbours and of course my roomie VELYN, for planning a surprise at the doorstep. It was a very very 'grand' surprise i would say. People i least expected to come, came. I would very much like to know who came up with the sadistic balloon idea thou. ;)

5) Everyone for the birthday wishes, be it through phone or facebook. Your wishes have been noted even though i haven't replied. I'm just plain lazy! HAHAHA. I hope that my fairy godmother is a diligent lady. ((:

Food for thought

Biology has always been a great challenge for me. To learn about diversity topics like cells and having to spoil my eyesight as i scrutinise the teeny cells through microscopes tortured me big time. Lab sessions often wearied me and leave me flabbergasted. I can neither understand nor can i appreciate the tiny organisms around.

However, the lesson on animal kingdom today got me on my feet. At least this is easier to digest as compared to cell wall or membrane whatsoever. My tutor talked about food chain. Human; in scientific terms; homo sapiens are the keystone predator. In layman terms, you and i are at the top of the food chain. We consume almost everything in the world. On this note, you should realise that we are critical to the food chain as we control the survival of the rest of the organisms below us. 

I am amused by how my puny brain grew today. -Put on my smarty specs-  I just got to know that after a predator gobbled up its prey , only 10 percent of the energy is transferred to the next level. Therefore, we should try to consume more vegetables instead of meat. If not, the energy accumulated upwards the chain would be wasted. Lets all be vegetarians. (for a week maybe?) :DD

To bring the food chain into real life situation, it sets me thinking. Although all of us hate bossy, domineering boss in our company, leaders from "Pay And Pay", irritating class monitors, the gangsta geeko sapiens in the picture above, we have to admit that these people are actually the pillars of our society. They are just like the tigers in the forest. Only a few of them as compared to the entire forest population. None of the other animals like them. However, if they are extinct, there will be chaos in the food chain. Whereby, more wolf packs would be around, feeding on the rabbits and then they reproduce. No more rabbits, more grass, more wolves around. The entire forest will go hay-wired. 

Hence, leaders are indispensable. 

If you can't stand them, try to work harder (in terms of enquiring more knowledge and study harder so as to climb up the intellectual food chain) and beat them. I guess this is the only way out.

Finally, i have completed an assignment in advance. Putting in all effort to quit last minute habits with the help of my lovely friends. Actually they were playing Monopoly Deal whilst i was going through my work. Well, Hunny helped much, chee and shan too. Blame it on the forty winks i had when they were finding their articles (but there weren't enough internet cables for all) and the never ending gossips about Jack Neo after dinner (truly disgusted by the nature of men him. some say the news is just a gimmick. You think?)  

Anyways, DSE was almost completed. All word class, sentences and phrases found. Just have to type everything in the computer and print. No more last minute work. ((((:

Badly need to start afresh with everything. studies, vm, my life, things i've neglected, emo baggage. As if i've just woke up from a long and tiresome dream. It's time to catch up with life again.
